This book describes what will happen if you give a pig a party. First the pig will ask for balloons, then she will want to invite her friends. On the way to see her friends, she will stop at a fair and find them there. The pig accompanied by her friends will then return home for a sleepover. The pig will want to make a fort at her party and will want to decorate the fort. The pig will then ask for balloons, and if you give the balloons to the pig, the pig will probably ask for a party.
I always find these "If you give...books" funny and interesting because the end of the story corresponds to the beginning. I like the book because it is an easy book with few words on each page. Young students would be able to read the book and understand the simple storyline. Also, the illustrations are bright and colorful, hopefully captivating young students attention. This is a fun book that students will enjoy reading!
